Spanish is the primary language, but English is commonly spoken in hotels, restaurants, and shops.

GETTING AROUND

Service in restaurants may be more relaxed than you’re used to, we encourage you to embrace it as part of the experience.

RESERVATIONS

Many restaurants and rooftops fill up quickly, we recommend making reservations in advance especially at this time of the year.

San Miguel sits at a higher elevation, so you may feel it slightly when walking uphill or the first day.

NOISE

San Miguel is lively, especially in the center. Church bells, fireworks, and street activity are part of the experience.
